Who is UPANZ?
UPANZ supports those who promote and advance the development of usable products, reaching out to people who act as advocates for usability and the user experience. UPA members come from across the broad family of disciplines that create the user experience.

Our History
UPANZ was incorporated as part of the international UPA in September 2004. UPA is governed according to its Bylaws and Official Policies. Similarly, the UPANZ chapter is governed by its own Bylaws. At this stage we have not become an incorporated society and our financial structure at this stage is informal.

Membership
We currently have 50 members and about 200 people on our mailing list. Our meetings/presentations are held monthly in Auckland and Wellington, and on an adhoc basis in Christchurch.

UPANZ has regional cluster groups in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
