INTERACTION DESIGNER
Award winning established Software Development House, who is thriving despite the current market, is looking to increase their Design Team so that they can better reflect the new products that are streaming out into the market place. They have a fantastic set up in central Auckland with great offices, a fantastic ‘give back to the employee’ ethos and a strong pipeline for work over the next few years. The creative design team is looking to bring on an Interactive Designer who will focus on the following process with regards to their products.
- User research
- Synthesize users into Persona’s
- Indentify requirements of Persona’s
- Create a design framework (create alternate designs to solve business problems whilst also having the ability to communicate, illustrate and sell these designs)
- Refine the design framework
- Work with development and other stakeholders
You will need to have the following for this role:
- Degree in Interaction design, Psych, Industrial Design, Usability Design or relevant work experience.
- 3 years experience in interaction design based discipline (web and process interaction principles)
- Knowledge and skills in : Human interaction design, graphical communication and design, excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills, initiative and adaptability, wide experience in a vendor environment. You will also need to be proficient in Mac OSx
