Design, Research and Engineering at Microsoft
Speaker: Nigel Parker
Recently Microsoft held a global design event that started in Auckland and went around the world. The conference included presentations from HCI pioneer Bill Buxton and Microsoft’s Creative Director August de los Reyes.
Join Nigel as he touches on August de los Reyes’s session on emotional design before focusing on Bill Buxton’s insights into the evolution of input/output devices and expands further on the points with examples from within Microsoft.
We will then open the floor to engage in a discussion about people’s perceptions of interfaces in preparation for Al Monro presentation on NextWindow the following month.
